Children are significant members of the St. Mark’s community, so we strive to create an environment of love and acceptance, helping them to know Christ and make Him known. As servants of God we humbly accept the responsibility of nurturing the faith of children while honoring their individual and collective gifts.
Our Sunday School program gives each child a personalized experience. We have the wonderful opportunity to teach to each child’s interests and level of understanding. This reinforces that they are known and cared for in our church community. Our curriculum explores the stories of the Bible and teaches church traditions. The lessons are taught using crafts, legos, blocks, and other activities that encourage conversations about the themes being discussed.
Sunday School meets during the first part of the church service on Sunday mornings, with the children joining their families in church for communion.
